Kindergarten through 8th grade:
Cross Lutheran School provides a formal education for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We are committed to quality Christian education which calls for a sound academic program that will meet the individual needs of our students.
In keeping with a Christian philosophy and with respect to the educational requirements of the state of Texas, our students receive a thorough education in both Christian living and the following academic areas:
Religion: Worship, Bible Study, Bible History, Church History, and Memory Work.
Language Arts: Reading, Phonics, English, Spelling, Literature, and Handwriting.
Mathematics: Number Usage, Basic Arithmetic in all grades, Number Theory, Pre-Algebra, and
Algebra (where applicable).
Social Studies: Geography, History, Citizenship, Current Events, and Government.
Science: General Science, Health & Safety, Physical Science, Earth Science, and Life Science.
Art: Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, Crafts, and Appreciation.
Music: Theory, Appreciation, Vocal Choir, and Instrumental Band (grades 5-8).
Physical Education: Skills, Games, Sports, Physical Fitness, Rhythm, and Recreation.
v RELIGION:
We use current grade school religious curriculum by CPH. Students will complete a memory verse each week. Upper grades begin to study Luther’s Small Catechism and focus on specific books of the bible.

Our school's varied curricular activities seek to assist each child in reaching his/her potential as an individual by focusing on five essential elements:
